This diverse bike tour through the Lauterbrunnen valley takes you past impressive waterfalls: including the majestic Staubbach Falls, the powerful Mürrenbach Falls, the picturesque Mattenbach Falls, and the wild Schmadribach Falls. At the back of Lauterbrunnen valley, history comes to life, where silver, lead, iron, as well as lime and coal were mined since the Middle Ages. In Trachsellauenen, you can still find traces of the former lime kiln and charcoal production – a fascinating mix of nature and history.

The bike tour starts in Lauterbrunnen and first takes you to the Sausbach Falls, a picturesque waterfall in the heart of nature. The journey continues to the viewpoint at Sulwald, where you’ll be treated to a stunning view of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the surrounding mountains. After a short stop in Sulwald, the route leads to the idyllic mountain village of Isenfluh. On the return trip to Lauterbrunnen, enjoy the view of the majestic Staubbach Falls, which marks the end of this diverse tour.
