Mountain Bikes
Hardtail, full suspension, or downhill bike. The range of mountain bikes has grown enormously during the 25 years of our company’s existence. A relaxing tour across the forest, a gentle trail, or a racy downhill ride – today, there is a fitting bike for every terrain.
Hardtail
High purism on the hill. The mountain bike hype arose in the 1980s with the hardtails, and even today these bikes have lost none of their original fascination. By the absence of rear suspension, hardtails require less maintenance and are more advantageous than other mountain bikes. Thus, hardtails are particularly popular among beginners. The uncompromising lightweights score when climbing hills and reveal an authentic and direct riding experience.
Full Suspension
Full suspension uphill and down. Full suspension bikes are all-rounders on any terrain. The front and rear suspension dampens the impact loads applying to the bike and rider. Although they weigh a little more than hardtails, full suspension bikes are true all-rounders. Especially trail and all mountain bikes are ideal for a mix of longer climbs and challenging descents.
Enduro / Downhill
Downhill ride through rough terrain. Enduro and downhill bikes also have front and rear suspension. In this category, in contrast to full suspension bikes, components are primarily designed for durability. They are built with the most front and rear suspension travel for compensating and absorbing strong bumps and impacts. Hydraulic disc brakes and rough profile tyres ensure sufficient braking power and grip even at high speeds. With their technical equipment and geometry, these bikes are primarily built for descents. So off you go – get on the lift!
